The Queenstown Extension
Day One – Arrive Queenstown, South Island
After arriving at Queenstown airport you will be transferred the short distance to Queenstown – by boat! Experience the exhilaration of the famous jetboats as you travel across the pristine waters of Lake Wakatipu to central Queenstown.
Across from your jetty is the award winning 5 star Eichardt’s Private Hotel, with a history that dates back to the goldrush era. Relax in your hotel suite, and enjoy pre-dinner drinks in the Upstairs Bar whilst taking in the views of the surrounding mountains.
This evening retire to The Parlour for a welcome dinner that will showcase the best of New Zealand’s Pacific Rim cuisine.
Day Two – Queenstown and Lakefront Lodge
After a leisurely private breakfast in The Parlour, you will be chauffeured to the airport for your lodge helicopter transfer. Lift up and leave the vibrant town of Queenstown behind, fly across Lake Wakatipu to Blanket Bay a luxury lodge located on the edge of the lake in wonderful seclusion.
Relax over a leisurely lunch on The Terrace and perhaps a swim in the outdoor heated pool that captures the alpine environment with glorious lake views to the south. After lunch retire to the Board Room for an afternoon training session.
That evening enjoy dinner in the Lake View Evening Dining Room with its beamed ceiling and stone fireplace.
Day Three – The Lodge
After a relaxed breakfast, chose from a number of exclusive activities showcasing this region. Options including horse riding and mountain biking on the privately owned high country sheep station – Wyuna. This is a working sheep, cattle and deer farm. Or choose a 4WD drive tour taking in the historic scheelite mines on the station, or scenic river safari on the spectacular Dart River.
Return to the lodge in the afternoon and enjoy the quiet and seclusion of your luxury lodge for some rest and relaxation. Take advantage of the spa or perhaps enjoy a stroll through the grounds before dinner in the dining room.
Day Four – The Lodge and Queenstown
This morning after breakfast, there will be a final training session in the Board Room. After enjoying lunch on The Terrace you will be chauffeured back to central Queenstown for your final night at Eichardt’s Private Hotel.
Spend the afternoon at your leisure enjoying the boutique shops and vibrant cafes before enjoying dinner at an excellent award winning local restaurant and a final night of luxury at Eichardt’s.
